Irish Tulip Stallions

Wasabi

Irish Tulip is proud to offer the New Forest stallion Wasabi for breeding to select mares for 2009. He is currently being prepared for inspection and certification with ISR-Oldenburg Sport Pony Division and is already registered with the New Forest Pony Society.

Wasabi is a 2006 pure bred New Forest pony by well known stallion Wicked Courtjester out of an imported New Forest Mare Jacodi's Bo Bonnie. His proven European bloodlines on both dam and sire side have passed on a stunningly beautiful head with a wonderful expression, correct legs, a well developed topline, and super impressive gaits. Wasabi has also been free jumped and shows the same talent and enjoyment over fences as his sire.
Wasabi's adorable charming personality instantly draws your attention. He is a real people pony and loves attention. He is eager to please and do whatever is asked of him.
Wasabi was presented in the summer of 2008 to the ISR/Oldenburg Registry for his pre-inspection as a stallion candidate. Judge's comments were that he was very well balanced at the walk and canter and has a very powerful trot. It was recommended that he be presented again as a 3 yr old in 2009.

Beaverwoods Shayman

Shayman is a performance pony who competes in both Combined Driving and Pleasure Driving Shows, and has also successfully been ridden and has natural jumping ability. His calm, generous attitude wins him much praise. He is a dazzling dappled dun with the substance, style and temperament of a great sport pony - and he brings these qualities to his offspring. The foals he has on the ground are lovely movers with correct conformation and great attitudes. In addition, he is the only full Welsh son of the wonderful Merioneth Merlyn in North American who is standing at stud.
