* Schooling - 15 minutes for Short Stirrup only before Short Stirrup and 15 minutes
Before A/B Hunters. If weather permits, schooling in outdoor prior to lunch break.

From North: I -95 South to Route 896 (Middletown). 896 over C&D Canal bridge. At 3rd light make right onto Churchtown Road (after the airport, Valero gas station on your right) Follow road to traffic light. Approx 8 miles. Turn left onto Route 213 south. Immediately after Bohemia River Bridge take right onto Glebe Road. Driveway is 1.8 miles on Glebe Road on left.

From South : I - 95 North to Exit 100 Route 272 (NorthEast) Follow to Route 40. Take left onto Route 40. Follow till Route 213 (Burger King, Royal Farms on Right) South. Route 213 for approx 9 miles. Immediately after Bohemia River Bridge take right onto Glebe Road. Driveway is 1.8 miles on left.

From East: Take 301 North to Route 313 (Galena). Follow thru Galena becomes Route 213 North. Just before Bohemia River Bridge (2nd bridge you come to) is Glebe Road on your left. Driveway is 1.8 miles on Glebe Road on your left.

RULES & REGULATIONS
In Addition to the General Rules of the WPCSA

1.ELIGIBILITY: This show is open to ponies registered with and foals eligible fo registration with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America. Person making entry and the eligibility of the animal shall be subject to the rules of the WPCSA and the local competition.

2. Payment of Fees: Only Cash, Checks or Money Orders payable in U.S. Currency will be accepted. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for Non Negotiable Checks. Fees must be paid in full with paperwork and signatures.

3. Entries: Must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2008 to be accepted. NO POST ENTRIES ACCEPTED. All entries require Negative Coggins taken within one year of the date of the show. Copy of Pony Registration Papers and Measurement Cards MUST BE attached to the entry form. Incomplete entries will not be processed and will be returned.

4. Fees:
Double Judged Breeding, with WPCSA fee $30.00
Performance Classes $15.00 / class or $40.00 / Division
WPCSA recording fee, performance only $3.00

5. Scratches: Entry Fees (minus $10.00 fee per animal) will be refunded by mail ONLY UPON THE PRESENTATION OF A VET’S CERTIFICATE AND NOTIFICATION TO THE SHOW SECRETARY before the start of the show.

6. Prize Money: The prize money for this shows totals $460.00. $25.00 will be given for each judges Supreme Champion & Supreme Gelding. $20.00 will be given for each judges Grand Champion A,B,C/D, & ½. $20.00 will be given to the winner of each Stake class. $10.00 will be given to each judges Reserve Supreme, Reserve Gelding & Reserve Grand A,B,C/D & ½.

7. Ribbons. Ribbons for 1-4 place and Champion & Reserve . No Ribbons for Grand Champion or Supremes

8. Height and Measurement: All entries age 6 and over must present a measurement card from the USEF or WPCSA or be measured before getting your numbers to show. All ponies in performance classes must have a measurement card. Measurement will take place at 8:30 am on the day of the show.
9. Coggins /Rhino: A negative Coggins test Certificate, or copy thereof, within one year os the show is required. A vaccine for Equine Rhinopneumonitis within 90 days of the show is strongly recommended.

10. Dogs: Please leave your dogs and other pets at home. If they come, they MUST BE ON A LEASH or CRATED. This is a private Facility with dogs who ‘live’ there.

11. Bathing Ponies: This facility has no place for you to bathe your ponies. A bath will not be required, but a good brushing will. There is water available for drinking.

12. Motorized Vehicles: There will be no motorized vehicles such as golf carts or scooters allowed on the grounds.

13. Protective Head Gear: Protective head gear must be worn by all mounted riders at all times.

14. Classes may be divided at show management’s discretion if entries warrant.

15. Food: You will need to bring your own food and drinks. There will be an area set up to share food.

16. Stabling: Limited 15 stalls on a first come first served , reserved by payment.

17. Every Precaution will be taken for the safe keeping of every animal and article upon the grounds. Show management, employees, officials, volunteers, Irish Tulip, LLC will in no case be responsible for any damage or accident which may occur. Eash exhibitor will be solely responsible for their own liabilities if incurred, as well as damage or injury to any other person or property, caused by the exhibitor or any of the animals exhibited by him/her.

Entries are made by Owners, Trainers and Exhibitors with the understanding that they are familiar with the aforementioned rules and regulations.

Breeding Division: Animals are to be shown in hand at a walk and a trot except in group classes. Purebred Welsh to be judged 85% on breed type, conformation, way of going, quality and substance and 15% on disposition and manners. Natural reaching action is desired. Half Welsh to be judged 85% on conformation, way of going, quality and substance and 15% on Welsh Type, disposition and manners.

PERFORMANCE

WPCSA Short Stirrup Hunter: Division is open to riders 12 years of age and under. Classes are open to all ponies/cobs/half Welsh. Riders in this division may not compete over fences in any other division except short stirrup equitation. Courses to be set at 18" with a minimum of 6 fences with 8 jumping efforts required. May either trot or canter the entire course. Over fences classes must precede the under saddle class. To be judges 100 % on performance. To be eligible for the under saddle class, pony must be entered and complete a course in at least one over fences class. Under saddle class animals are shown both ways of the ring at a walk, trot and canter.

WPCSA HUNTER: To be shown over a course of eight fences. To be judges 75% on performance, manners, movement and style, 25% on breed type and conformation. Working classes are judged 100% on performance. Animals not exceeding 13.2 hh will jump 2'0", animals 13.2 hh but not exceeding 14.2 shall jump 2'6". Under Saddle: To be eligible pony must be entered and have completed a course in at least one over fences class. To be shown at the walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring. May be required to hand gallop one way of the ring but no more than eight animals at one time.
A/B Hunters will be split into Smalls - Medium/Large if there are at least 3 for each division (small - Med/lg)
